Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Hightower (ranked 45 p4p, 369 weight class) and Hjallis Kalske (ranked 9 p4p, 56 weight class). Hightower comes to the cage accompanied by The Power. Jason Hightower is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hjallis Kalske!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalske drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hightower stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

enabling Kalske to counter with a crisp jab.

Kalske has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kalske tries to free his leg and advance position but Hightower is retaining full guard.
Kalske has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kalske throws a strike but Hightower rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've been told by Hightower's head coaches at Blacktalians MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kalske shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hightower pinned against the cage. Hightower gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kalske drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hightower defends it well.
Hightower uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kalske has time to react.

Kalske throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Hightower counters with a series of strikes. Kalske will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kalske only half commits to the counter leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hightower enables Kalske to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hightower manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

and Kalske counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Hightower has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
