Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pocket Rocket (ranked 3124 p4p, 5603 weight class) and Tim Riggins (ranked 171 p4p, 247 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riggins has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rocket is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Riggins shoots in for a takedown but Rocket shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pocket Rocket has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Riggins.
Riggins throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rocket throws an overhand right that lands on Riggins's shoulder, as Riggins tries to avoid the shot.

Rocket connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rocket swings for the body but Riggins moves out of range.
Rocket connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Riggins momentarily.
Rocket definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Riggins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Riggins looks to land a combination. Rocket sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riggins throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rocket on the side of the head.

Riggins clinches up with Rocket and pushes him back against the cage.

Rocket wants to break the clinch but can't.
Riggins is working for takedown but Rocket is calmly controlling the position for now.
Riggins keeps control of Rocket as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Riggins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Riggins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Riggins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rocket avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Riggins scores with a nice hook to the head.
Riggins makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rocket prevents the takedown attempt.
Riggins jumps guard but Rocket stands there with Riggins around his waist. Riggins gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Riggins dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Rocket wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Riggins has him pressed against the cage.
Rocket is looking to break free of the clinch but Riggins has double underhooks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tim Riggins dominated that round.
That's time! Rocket's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Riggins counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rocket has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Riggins should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rocket has tightened it up now! Riggins should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Pocket Rocket!
Pocket Rocket really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
