Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Horvat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Savage Randy!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvat buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Horvat misses with a lunging right hand
and Randy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Horvat staying out of range there.
Randy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Horvat.
Horvat looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Horvat thows a left - swing and a miss!
Horvat lands a jab.
Randy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Horvat finds it's way round the side to connect with Randy's head.
Horvat misses with a hook.
Randy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Randy lands a jab.
A jab lands there for Horvat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horvat slips a jab from Randy.
Randy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Horvat.
An attempted straight right counter from Horvat misses the target.
Some bone on bone action there as Randy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Horvat backing away here, and Randy unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Horvat throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Randy counters with a nice uppercut.
Randy scores with a leg kick.
Horvat buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Randy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Horvat has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Randy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Randy misses with a low kick.
Horvat wants to clinch
and Horvat takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Horvat is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Randy engages and cracks Horvat with a massive lead left hook - Horvat tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Randy is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Savage Randy!
Savage Randy gave a mention to Grunge Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
