Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sky Genie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Dier!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, John Mangel and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dier lands a lovely overhand right.
A slapping leg kick lands for Dier.
Dier buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dier avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Genie closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dier counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Sky Genie has been cut.
Genie is looking to clinch but Dier is avoiding it.
Dier feints the counter takedown.
Dier thumps Genie with a low kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Dier steps into range and cracks Genie with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Genie flops backwards and Dier dives into his guard looking to finish!

Genie is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dier lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Oh Genie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dier gets to his feet and stands over Genie, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Genie felt that one! Dier unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Genie from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Dier!
After the fight, Eric Dier was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
