PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zalt Gaanja (ranked 1934 p4p, 2386 weight class) and Kim Kitsuragi (ranked 275 p4p, 322 weight class). Gaanja's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nathan Evans - Wellerman. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaanja swings for the body but Kitsuragi moves out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kitsuragi . Gaanja shrugs it off though.

Kitsuragi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gaanja lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kitsuragi at a distance.
Kitsuragi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Gaanja on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Gaanja cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A thudding body kick lands there by Kitsuragi !
Gaanja lunges at Kitsuragi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kitsuragi 's hand.
Kitsuragi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
