Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dinapoli (ranked 224 p4p, 386 weight class) and Tommy Weismuller (ranked 39 p4p, 59 weight class). Weismuller comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Nosebleed Section by Hilltop Hoods kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dinapoli lands a big head kick that sends Weismuller tumbling to the mat! Dinapoli takes a step backwards and waves Weismuller back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tommy Weismuller has been cut.
Tommy Weismuller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weismuller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dinapoli manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've been informed that Weismuller has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dinapoli throws the left hand but Weismuller avoids the punch easily.
It seemed like Weismuller was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Weismuller throws the left hand but Dinapoli avoids the punch easily.

Dinapoli missing with a left hand there. Weismuller was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Weismuller! But no joy.
Dinapoli takes a swing at Weismuller's ribcage but misses.
Weismuller throws a lazy uppercut

and Dinapoli counters with a nice right hand that sends Weismuller toppling to the canvas! Weismuller scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dinapoli finish him?!

Dinapoli walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Weismuller drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Dinapoli swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Weismuller's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
