PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Murfum Orcarm (ranked 2676 p4p, 2699 weight class) and Andre Koefti (ranked 69 p4p, 71 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Murfum Orcarm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Koefti!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orcarm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Koefti sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Orcarm somewhat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Orcarm or perhaps it was just good defense by Koefti, which made it look bad.

Orcarm changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koefti looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Koefti tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Koefti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orcarm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Orcarm in side control lands a decent elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Orcarm works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Orcarm looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
You can see the frustration on Koefti's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Orcarm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Koefti is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Orcarm is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Orcarm sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Koefti is looking to improve his position but Orcarm isn't that keen on the idea.

Orcarm fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The referee warns Koefti that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
