Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Victor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Azriel Pandens!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victor dives in for a single leg takedown but Pandens sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Victor pulls Pandens into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pandens slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pandens wants to get up but he can't break Victor's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Victor lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pandens has given up his back here. Will Victor look for the submission or keep pounding away?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pandens throws a strike but Victor rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Pandens scores with a kick to the body.

Victor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pandens can pounce on him.

Victor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pandens was well out of range. Poor timing from Victor.
The crowd cheers as Pandens lands an impressive looking overhand right. Victor doesn't seem phased though.

Pandens takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Victor shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pandens napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pandens tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Victor is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Pandens tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Victor fails to move to back control.
Pandens is trying desperately to improve position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Victor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pandens can do to turn this around?

Victor seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Pandens's chin but Pandens turns very nicely into Victor's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Pandens.

That was a close second round but I would say that Caio Victor will probably get the nod.
That's time! Victor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Pandens connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Victor momentarily.

Victor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Victor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Victor works to advance to full mount. Pandens defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Victor is looking to work his way around to Pandens's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Victor swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pandens is now in Victor's guard. A big mistake from Victor there, giving up the dominant position!
