Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, David Scott!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott has closed the distance and engaged Koppia in a clinch.
Scott is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Koppia to keep the fight standing.
Scott fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Scott tries to pull guard but Koppia forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ottaa Koppia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Scott.

Scott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Scott tries to counter it with a takedown but Koppia pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Koppia throws a big shot that misses.
Scott takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koppia throws a jab but it's blocked by Scott.

Koppia gets tackled into the cage by Scott. Scott maintains the clinch.
Koppia throws a head punch that misses.
Koppia throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Scotts head.
Scott tries to pull guard but Koppia forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Koppia just stands there and leans against the cage.

Scott ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Scott no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Koppia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Koppia has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted.
Koppia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Koppia has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Scott celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

A relieved looking David Scott thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
