Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Draper (ranked 3855 p4p, 5691 weight class) and Kody Harbrant (ranked 430 p4p, 515 weight class). Draper's entrance music is Asshole. A fine choice. Kody Harbrant has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Sterling Draper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kody Harbrant!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draper swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Draper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Harbrant takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Harbrant wants to clinch.
Draper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harbrant was covering up waiting for the punch and Draper finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harbrant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Draper is one step ahead there.
Harbrant lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Draper has his foot on Harbrant's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harbrant works his way back into a safe position though.
Draper looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Harbrant wants to control from the top but Draper keeps moving.
Draper pulls Harbrant in close to his closed guard and prevents Harbrant from doing any damage or advancing position.
Draper has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Harbrant should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Draper has tightened it up now! Harbrant should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sterling Draper!
