Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Teague Shannon (ranked 3316 p4p, 819 weight class) and Brandon Hendrix (ranked 390 p4p, 122 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Teague Shannon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Hendrix!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shannon moves away.
Shannon with a jab.
Hendrix fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shannon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hendrix.
Hendrix checks the leg kick nicely there.
Shannon throws an overhand right that lands on Hendrix's shoulder, as Hendrix tries to avoid the shot.
Hendrix checks a low kick from Shannon.
Shannon avoids the body shot from Hendrix.
Shannon misses with a looping right.
Shannon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hendrix scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Teague Shannon has been cut.
Shannon cracks Hendrix with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Shannon scores with a head kick. Hendrix tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shannon looks to land a combination but Hendrix avoids it well.
Shannon blocks a jab.
Hendrix feints a jab promting Shannon to slip. Hendrix then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shannon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Shannon is rocked!
Hendrix finds Shannon's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Shannon flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hendrix lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Shannon will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brandon Hendrix!
