PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Berge (ranked 1006 p4p, 3713 weight class) and Mickey Doolan (ranked 150 p4p, 414 weight class). Doolan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fight Dirty. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Mickey Doolan!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doolan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Doolan throws a hook to the side of Berge's head but Berge sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jab, jab by Doolan - just one landing.
Doolan scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Doolan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Doolan throws out a loose jab but Berge uses good head movement to avoid it.

Berge gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Doolan is trying to break the clinch but Berge has him pressed against the cage.
Berge tries to pull guard but Doolan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Berge fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Berge fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Berge tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Doolan wants to break free but Berge has control.
Berge throws a punch but it's blocked by Doolan.

Berge is trying to pull guard but Doolan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tobias Berge. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Berge throws a head punch that misses.

Berge is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Doolan defends well.

Berge has his foot on Doolan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doolan works his way back into a safe position though.
Berge seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Berge is trying to maintain the position but Doolan is very close to passing his half guard.

Berge has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Doolan. Oh but Berge has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Doolan goes limp - he's gone! Berge jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Tobias Berge gave a mention to BE Younick in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Mickey Doolan was interviewed post fight and said 'Man this game is tough. You lose a fight and it sits there on your record to remind you. I only hope we get to run it back.'.
