And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hendrik Vermeulen!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vermeulen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Bjj Ace has been cut.
Ace with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vermeulen to score with a decent uppercut.
Ace doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vermeulen counters with a nice uppercut.
Vermeulen cracks Ace with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vermeulen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ace to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ace with a poor takedown
and Vermeulen counters with a crisp right that sends Ace to the canvas! Vermeulen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
