Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Dixon (ranked 22 p4p, 47 weight class) and Anni Skystalker (ranked 4 p4p, 9 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Darren Dixon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Darren Dixon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darren Dixon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Anni Skystalker!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dixon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Dixon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dixon lands in his opponent's guard.
Skystalker looking to control.

Dixon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Skystalker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dixon has managed to get both his arms back between Skystalker's legs - danger averted.

Skystalker throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dixon escapes and throws Skystalker's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darren Dixon.
