The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kingsley backs up against the cage.

It looks like Deacon Kingsley has been cut.
Thibodeaux throws a big shot that misses.
Kingsley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

enabling Kingsley to counter with a crisp jab.

Kingsley fires out a quick counter leg kick but Thibodeaux just manages to avoid it.

and Kingsley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thibodeaux fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kingsley manages to avoid it.
Kingsley half committed to a counter leg kick.

A telegraphed right hand from Kingsley misses the target.

Kingsley smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Kingsley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kingsley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Thibodeaux just misses with a punch to the body.
Thibodeaux throws the kick towards the body but Kingsley avoids it.
Kingsley tried to counter with a leg kick but Thibodeaux avoided it.
Thibodeaux throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kingsley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kingsley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thibodeaux.

and Kingsley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kingsley avoids the body shot from Thibodeaux.
It looked like Kingsley was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Thibodeaux.
Kingsley connects with a looping right hand.
Kingsley is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Kingsley takes a head kick and keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Thibodeaux! Kingsley is out on his feet! Thibodeaux rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kingsley is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kingsley is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
