Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Shozo Amisaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darius Thibodeaux!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amisaki misses with a kick to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Thibodeaux as he connects with a hook.
Thibodeaux swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Amisaki.
Amisaki tries to clinch but Thibodeaux is having none of it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Thibodeaux! But no joy.

Thibodeaux moves out of range of the body kick.
Amisaki tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Amisaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Thibodeaux throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Thibodeaux appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

and Amisaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Amisaki definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thibodeaux throws a shot from downtown. Amisaki moves away and avoids it.
Amisaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Amisaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Amisaki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thibodeaux throws out the jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Thibodeaux. That snapped Amisaki's head back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thibodeaux. Amisaki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Thibodeaux checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Thibodeaux missing with a left hand there. Amisaki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A lazy left from Thibodeaux finds it's target.
Thibodeaux digs a good hook to Amisaki's body.

Thibodeaux lands a big right hand that sends Amisaki crashing to the mat! Thibodeaux stays standing though and waves Amisaki back to his feet!

Amisaki is rocked!
Thibodeaux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amisaki moves away.
Amisaki takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oh Amisaki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Amisaki slips under a jab from Thibodeaux.
Amisaki throws a nice outside leg kick.
Amisaki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Amisaki wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Amisaki seems to have got his legs back now.
Thibodeaux swings for the body but Amisaki moves out of range.
Amisaki misses with a body shot.
Amisaki misses with a body shot.
Amisaki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thibodeaux.
Amisaki is looking to counter with a body kick.
Amisaki misses with a straight left.
Thibodeaux uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Amisaki has time to react.
Thibodeaux scores with a jab.
A lazy left from Thibodeaux finds it's target.
Thibodeaux loads up on a big right hand but Amisaki slips the punch.
Thibodeaux is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Amisaki had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Amisaki gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Thibodeaux gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darius Thibodeaux!
A relieved looking Darius Thibodeaux thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
