Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimo lands a lovely overhand right.
Valentine avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Valentine was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Aleksi Heimo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heimo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Heimo looks to land a left hand but Valentine moved out of range nicely.

Heimo cracks Valentine with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've been told by Valentine's head coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Heimo misses with a hook. Valentine ducked under it nicely.
It looked like Valentine wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Heimo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Heimo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Heimo punishes Valentine's body with a nice straight punch.
Heimo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Heimo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Valentine was well out of range. Poor timing from Heimo.
Valentine throwing a counter right hand but Heimo manages to avoid it.
Heimo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Heimo! Valentine is out on his feet! Heimo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Valentine is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Valentine is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
