Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiff Sanford (ranked 3723 p4p, 4128 weight class) and Micahel Anderson (ranked 448 p4p, 491 weight class). Sanford comes to the cage accompanied by Jefferson Starship - Jane. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanford swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sanford keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sanford seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt - Sanford sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A slow jab from Sanford misses its intended target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson tries to clinch up but Sanford circles away and keeps his distance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sanford enables Anderson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sanford manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Anderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Anderson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Anderson seems to have locked his on tight now - Sanford screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Anderson, as he picks up the win!

In his post fight interview, Micahel Anderson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
