Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean Dash (ranked 2420 p4p, 3325 weight class) and Charles Sobhraj (ranked 134 p4p, 187 weight class). Sobhraj has chosen hurragutt as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Dash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Sobhraj!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobhraj's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sobhraj duly obliges.
Sean Dash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dash loads up on a big right hand but Sobhraj slips the punch.

Dash feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sobhrajs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Sobhraj throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Sobhraj has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dash regains guard immediately.
Sobhraj postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dash might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Sean Dash will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sobhraj shoots in looking for a takedown but Dash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sobhraj's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
