Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Balthazar Baker (ranked 510 p4p, 1005 weight class) and Eric Osiris (ranked 77 p4p, 157 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Osiris's choice of entrance music: Erbody But Me by Tech N9ne. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Osiris takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

We've been informed that Osiris has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Baker stalks Osiris and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Osiris's face. Osiris staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Eric Osiris has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Osiris avoids the body shot from Baker.
Osiris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baker manages to avoid it.
Baker attempts a counter takedown but Osiris avoids it well and moves away.
Baker dips to his left and cracks Osiris with an uppercut!

Osiris's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Baker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Osiris scrambles back to his feet.

It looked like Baker was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Osiris.
Osiris steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Baker.

Osiris throws the left hand but Baker avoids the punch easily.
Baker half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Baker looks to score with a jab to the body but Osiris is just out of range.
Baker takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Osiris paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Osiris lands with a nice body punch.
Osiris fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Baker on the side of the head.

Baker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Osiris keeps Baker at a distance using the push kick.

Osiris tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Osiris feints and then cracks Baker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Baker down.
Osiris bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Baker walks straight into a right hand from Osiris - that's dropped him! Osiris jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Baker from any more punishment! Baker complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
