Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Alexander (ranked 5616 p4p, 24328 weight class) and Alessandro Moretti (ranked 511 p4p, 568 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander fails in his attempt to clinch.

Moretti is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Alexander 's half guard.
Alexander looks like he's trying to stand up.

Alexander has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Moretti is on him like a limpet, forcing Alexander back against the cage.
Moretti is looking to take this one to the mat.

Moretti turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Alexander really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Moretti landing strikes.
Moretti throws an elbow but Alexander slips to the side and avoids it well.
Alexander takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Moretti content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Alexander tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moretti is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Alexander defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Alexander manages to stand up with Moretti still on his back. Eventually Moretti drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Moretti drops Alexander with a beautiful combination! Alexander stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Moretti is looking for the KO!

Alexander is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moretti swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Alexander is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Moretti closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Alexander ! Moretti dives in looking to finish! Alexander is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
