Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Sullivan (ranked 401 p4p, 692 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 58 p4p, 94 weight class). Tony Stark acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Stark!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan thows a left - swing and a miss!
Stark shoots in for a takedown but Sullivan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sullivan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Sullivan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Stark tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sullivan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sullivan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stark was well out of range. Poor timing from Sullivan.

Stark shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sullivan but Sullivan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A little feinted left hand from Sullivan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Stark wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sullivan, who protects the arm well.

Stark goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sullivan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stark but great work by Sullivan.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Sullivan will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Some bone on bone action there as Stark checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Stark looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sullivan is fending him off so far but Stark persists. Nope, Sullivan circles away and we're back to standing.

Sullivan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stark tries a quick counter leg kick but Sullivan is wise to it.

And Stark tries to counter it with a takedown but Sullivan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Sullivan parries the strikes from Stark easily there. Stark is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sullivan to escape.

Stark is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sullivan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Stark is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sullivan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sullivan is looking to regain half guard here but Stark keeps moving and retains side control.

Stark looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Stark swings around for an armbar but Sullivan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stark's guard.
Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Stark has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Tony Stark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Stark postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sullivan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stark, into his guard.

Jack Sullivan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sullivan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
