Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Michael Stanley (ranked 511 p4p, 1359 weight class) and Nick Barkley (ranked 77 p4p, 211 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Roger Michael Stanley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Roger Michael Stanley seems to be OK! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley misses with a lunging right hand
and Stanley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barkley has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Stanley.
Barkley throws a body kick that misses
letting Stanley counter with a right hand.
Barkley wants to slow Stanley down by chopping away at his legs.
A little feinted left hand from Stanley on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Barkley darts in trying to clinch
and Stanley counters with a nice body shot.
Barkley has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Stanley moves into range and connects with a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barkley thuds his shin into the meat of Stanley's side.
Barkley moves out of range of the strikes.
Barkley doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Stanley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Barkley fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stanley on the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barkley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stanley getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Barkley tries a head kick but it misses.
Stanley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stanley circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Barkley to the canvas! Barkley doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Stanley keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
