Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bong Ji Woo (ranked 103 p4p, 163 weight class) and Jacque Joteel (ranked 14 p4p, 26 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Joteel's choice of entrance music: Moogwalze. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joteel throws a solid leg kick but Ji Woo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Joteel.
Ji Woo lands a front kick.
We've been informed that Joteel has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

It looked like Ji Woo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Joteel throws out a loose jab but Ji Woo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ji Woo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Joteel swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ji Woo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ji Woo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joteels jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ji Woo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Joteel - the referee stops the clock and Ji Woo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Joteel. Ji Woo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Joteel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Ji Woo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ji Woo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Joteel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Joteel looks to land a left hand but Ji Woo moved out of range nicely.
Ji Woo slips under a jab.
Ji Woo jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Joteel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Ji Woo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jacque Joteel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ji Woo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Joteel on the side of the head.

and Ji Woo counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
