Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yumikuri shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Siciliano as he jumps to the side.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yumikuri.

Yumikuri drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Siciliano dives on top into guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Siciliano is working for a kimura but Yumikuri is defending it quite comfortably.
Yumikuri is looking for a sweep. Siciliano is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Siciliano is looking to take a break and control but Yumikuri is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Horrible takedown by Yumikuri or perhaps it was just good defense by Siciliano which made him look bad.

Siciliano lands a nice hook to Yumikuri's body. Yumikuri takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Siciliano drops Yumikuri with a left right combo! Siciliano follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Sasuke Yumikuri has been cut.
A lull in the action here as Siciliano stalls from top position.

Siciliano is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yumikuri knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Siciliano has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Yumikuri tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yumikuri has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Yumikuri thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Siciliano's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Yumikuri takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Siciliano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yumikuri looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Siciliano takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Yumikuri shoots for a takedown but Siciliano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Yumikuri is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Siciliano throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yumikuri stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Yumikuri is still on wobbly legs! Can Siciliano finish him?
Siciliano steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Yumikuri is out on his feet! Siciliano sets himself and nearly takes Yumikuri's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
