Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gwynn Evans (ranked 828 p4p, 1428 weight class) and Pierre Ledoux (ranked 114 p4p, 194 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gwynn Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pierre Ledoux!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledoux uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Evans.
Ledoux drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Evans defends it well.
Evans staying out of range there.
Ledoux shoots in for a takedown but Evans shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Evans walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A big left from Ledoux misses.
Ledoux moves out of range as Evans strikes.
A shot to the liver by Evans. Beautiful body shot.
Ledoux tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evans was well out of range. Poor timing from Ledoux.
Ledoux is looking to clinch but Evans is avoiding it.

Ledoux pushes Evans up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Evans creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ledoux wants a takedown.

Ledoux turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evans tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ledoux wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evans can't do much from the bottom here.
Evans tries to improve position but can't.

Evans wants to get back to his feet.
Evans gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Ledoux seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Evans has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ledoux is on him like a limpet, forcing Evans back against the cage.

Evans has a couple of punches blocked by Ledoux.
Ledoux is looking to take this one to the mat.
Gwynn Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pierre Ledoux.

Evans bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Evans throws a looping overhand right but Ledoux ducks down to avoid it.
Ledoux moves in looking to clinch but Evans pushes him off.
Ledoux misses with a takedown attempt - Evans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Evans wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Evans throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Evans cracks Ledoux with an open hand slap.
Evans cracks a nice hook into Ledoux's ribs.

Evans cracks Ledoux with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ledoux looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Evans finish him?

Ledoux is rocked!
Evans throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ledoux clean off his feet! He's out cold! Evans stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
