Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aman Alban (ranked 5762 p4p, 24916 weight class) and Gakus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gakus Amiga was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Amiga is looking to take a break and control but Alban is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alban can't do much from the bottom here.
Alban tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Amiga wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Alban manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Alban is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Alban is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Amiga defends it well.
Amiga is defending against the submission attempts here by Alban.
We've been hearing that Alban has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
