Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fábio Araújo (ranked 2034 p4p, 1281 weight class) and Zeke Titus (ranked 273 p4p, 178 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fábio Araújo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Zeke Titus!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araújo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Titus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Araújo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Titus doesn't seem bothered though.
Araújo throws a jab when Titus was well out of range.
Araújo lands a nice looking body shot.
Araújo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blacktalians MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Titus misses with a takedown attempt
and Araújo counters with a three punch combo that has Titus backing up. Titus nods at Araújo to acknowledge the strikes.
Araújo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Titus. That did some damage!
Titus shoots in and bounces Araújo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

My spies in Slaughter Houze inform me that Titus has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fábio Araújo.
