The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yike Ii changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wyatt lands a jab.
Nice straight punches there by Wyatt. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wyatt.
A jab from Wyatt finds it's way through Yike Ii's defenses.
Yike Ii misses with a head kick.
Wyatt throws a shot from downtown. Yike Ii moves away and avoids it.
Yike Ii avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've been told by Wyatt's head coaches at 3Band MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yike Ii bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wyatt's head.

Yike Ii loads up on a big right hand but Wyatt slips the punch.
Angus Wyatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wyatt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wyatt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yike Ii stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wyatt lands a big uppercut and Yike Ii crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Yike Ii looks OK. Wyatt waves Yike Ii back to his feet!
Yike Ii throws a push kick but Wyatt slaps the foot to one side.

and Yike Ii counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wyatt thinking.

Yike Ii throws a lazy right hand but Wyatt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Yike Ii uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wyatt.

Wyatt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wyatt throws an overhand right that drops Yike Ii like a sack of potatoes! Wyatt dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Angus Wyatt started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
