The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nainggolan slips a straight right by Shepard.
Shepard has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shepard swings widly with a right hand
and Nainggolan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nainggolan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Duncan Shepard has been cut.
Shepard misses with a hook.
Nainggolan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nainggolan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shepard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nainggolan.

Nainggolan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and Nainggolan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nainggolan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shepard.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nainggolan, as that shot connected.

and Nainggolan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Shepard is rocked!
Shepard looks up at the clock. Bad move! Nainggolan lands a right hand from hell, dropping Shepard. Nainggolan pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
