Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cecil Lightning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joshua Jones!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lightning escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lightning looks low and kicks high, catching Jones right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

It looks like Joshua Jones has been cut.
Lightning fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.

Lightning cracks Jones with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Jones get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Jones looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lightning swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Lightning cracks Jones with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Jones is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Jones is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Jones is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from Lightning. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Lightning finish him?
Lightning looks to throw a body kick
and Jones counters with a one-two to the body.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.

Jones clinches up with Lightning and pushes him back against the ropes.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lightning swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Jones walks into a big right hand from Lightning and goes down! The referee sends Lightning to a neutral corner as Jones gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Lightning digs a good body shot into Jones's ribs.
Lightning has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe in the buildup to the fight.

Lightning catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Jones stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Jones walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Lightning fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lightning scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Jones beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Lightning throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Lightning tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jones rushes Lightning and presses him up against the ropes.

Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lightning misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lightning scores with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones instigates a clinch.

Jones breaks from the clinch.
Lightning feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Jones collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
