Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mustang Jack (ranked 1037 p4p, 2100 weight class) and Matthew Albans (ranked 147 p4p, 256 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matthew Albans !
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ron Honeybunn and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack tries to score with a low kick but Albans moves his leg out of the way.
Albans darts in looking for a takedown but Jack gets double underhooks and turns Albans into the cage.
Albans ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Albans has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Albans misses with an uppercut.
Albans looks to land a left hand but Jack moved out of range nicely.
Jack jabs Albans right on the nose. Albans blinks but takes it well.
Albans tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jack swivels and escapes.
Albans shoots for a double leg takedown but Jack sprawls well. He's pushed Albans 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mustang Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matthew Albans .

Albans is trying to control. Jack wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Albans is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Jack is pulling down on Albans 's head. It's preventing any offense from Albans , at least for the moment.
Jack is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Albans wants to control from the top but Jack keeps moving.
Jack has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Albans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jack swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Albans drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jack manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Albans has Jack in his guard.

Albans escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jack gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Matthew Albans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Albans looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Jack wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Albans rushes Jack and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jack goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Albans lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Albans is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Albans in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jack tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Albans !

Matthew Albans spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
