Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Valerio Falto (ranked 855 p4p, 28 weight class) and Kazuo Takashi (ranked 99 p4p, 3 weight class). Takashi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 吉田兄弟 Rising kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Valerio Falto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kazuo Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Takashi finds it's way round the side to connect with Falto's head.

Takashi takes the fight into the clinch.

Takashi tries to score a body lock takedown but Falto shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Takashi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Falto up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Falto is pressed up against the cage. Takashi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Falto down to the mat. Falto avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Valerio Falto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuo Takashi.

Well, with Takashi on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Falto is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Falto isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Takashi stacks Falto on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Takashi!
