Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Side (ranked 972 p4p, 901 weight class) and Choctaw Bloode (ranked 133 p4p, 119 weight class). Side's entrance music is In the Dark - Vintage Culture, Fancy Inc . A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iron Side!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Choctaw Bloode!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloode misses with a straight right.
Side throws a lazy right hand but Bloode sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bloode replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Side blocks it well.
Bloode avoids the body shot from Side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bloode. Side does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bloode scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Side thuds a left hand into Bloode's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bloode does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

It looked like Side wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A quick step to the side and Side tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Side throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bloode sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Bloode might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Side has got the better of the exchanges.

Side connects with a single shot there.
Bloode ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Side moves away.
Bloode is looking to land body kicks.
Side's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bloode connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Side scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Bloode in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Choctaw Bloode showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Side cracks Bloode with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Side has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bloode to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Side has knocked Bloode down with a huge combo! Side steps away and waves a wobbly Bloode back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
