The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Schrute looks to throw the jab but Akin is out of range.
It looked like Akin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Akin throws the left hand but Schrute avoids the punch easily.
Schrute keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Akin.
Schrute throws a lazy right hand but Akin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Akin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schrute drops Akin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Akin looks back up at him and smiles so Schrute waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Akin is rocked!

It looks like Adu Akin has been cut.
Schrute drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Akin's head, knocking him out cold! Schrute is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
