Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake has chosen Kiss - God of Thunder as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baki Hanma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Drake!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a wild body kick that Hanma sees coming a mile off.

Hanma drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Drake looking to control.
Hanma trying to control the position from guard on top but Drake is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hanma is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Drake is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Drake fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Drake throws a nice looking combination but Hanma bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hanma connects with the punch.
Drake throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Drake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hanma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drake swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Drake connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Baki Hanma has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hanma moves out of range of the leg kick from Drake.
Nice uppercut there from Drake.
Drake shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hanma blocks a low kick nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Drake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hanma has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hanma and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hanma has closed the distance and engaged Drake in a clinch.
Hanma drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hanma with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Hanma is breathing heavily.
Hanma wants a takedown but no success here.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Hanma lands with a right to the head.
Hanma trying to stall but Drake improves his position.
Hanma works on Drake's body with a couple of short punches.
Drake avoiding damage as Hanma throws knees to the body.
Drake wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Drake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chad Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drake wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hanma fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baki Hanma. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hanma takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Drake cracks Hanma with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Drake looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Drake throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Drake slips under a jab from Hanma.
Drake cracks Hanma with an open hand slap.
Drake fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Hanma to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Hanma looks to clinch but Drake throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Hanma taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
