Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaimie Hopson (ranked 4354 p4p, 5368 weight class) and Pedro Navarro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pedro Navarro was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopson checks a leg kick.
Navarro tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hopson is able to avoid easily.
Hopson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Navarro slips a jab and a cross from Hopson.
Navarro takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Navarro misses with a leg kick
and Hopson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Navarro attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Navarro thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hopson tries to counter by clinching up but Navarro breaks away and moves out of range.
Navarro looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hopson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hopson cracks Navarro with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Navarro is rocked!

Navarro throws a sloppy head kick
and Hopson counters with a huge left! Navarro is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hopson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Navarro from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hopson!
