The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapo looks to throw the jab but Virus is out of range.
Virus swings widly with a right hand
and Sapo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Virus misses the shot to the body.
Sapo lands with a cross.
Sapo has a takedown stuffed.
Sapo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Virus pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sapo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Virus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Virus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sapo misses with a double jab
enabling Virus to counter with a crisp jab.

Sapo just misses with a punch to the body.
Sapo lands with a good body shot.
Sapo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Virus counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Decent striking displayed by Sapo there.
Sapo dives in and grabs Virus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Virus pushes down on Sapo's head and hops out.
Corona Virus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Sapo.

Virus lands a big right hand that sends Sapo crashing to the mat! Virus stays standing though and waves Sapo back to his feet!

Sapo shoots and misses
and Virus rattles Sapo with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Sapo tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Virus dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Sapo stiff and motionless on the mat!
