Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 3882 p4p, 6044 weight class) and Turenai Sterling (ranked 212 p4p, 275 weight class). Sterling has chosen i will always love you as his entrance music. Turenai Sterling has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks for the body kick but Sterling saw that one coming.
Sterling feints the counter takedown.
Smith attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Smith clobbers Sterling with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Smith scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sterling doesn't seem bothered though.
Sterling shoots and misses

and Smith counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Sterling has hold of Smith's hands but Smith slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sterling with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sterling is rocked!
Smith looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Smith is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Sterling is hurt! He's hurt bad - Smith fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Sterling from any more punishment! Congratulations to Smith! Great finish!
