The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Nicholson. Those never looked like landing.
Robinson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nicholson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Robinson throws a sloppy head kick and Nicholson moves out of range easily.
Robinson ducks right into an uppercut from Nicholson.
Nicholson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Robinson under the eye.
Robinson doesn't manage to clinch there - Nicholson circles away.

and Nicholson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Robinson closes the distance and clinches.

Nicholson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Robinson.
A little feinted left hand from Nicholson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Nicholson counters with a stiff right hand.
Robinson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nicholson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Robinson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Nicholson counters with a crisp right that sends Robinson to the canvas! Nicholson follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
