Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Mumba counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bryant ! Mumba lets Bryant back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Bryant is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mumba's half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bryant moves nicely into side control.
Mumba looks to move to half guard but instead Bryant has passed into mount! Damn!

A little jabbing left from Mumba on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Bryant has been working on his balance at Besta-Fera Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Mumba.

Bryant has closed the distance and engaged Mumba in a clinch.

Bryant escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mumba connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mumba sizes up Bryant with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Mumba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

letting Mumba counter with a right hand.

Jeez, Bean Bryant 's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Bryant throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bryant scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mumba just misses with a punch to the body.

Bryant decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mumba is in trouble now - Bryant has advanced to mount!

Mumba defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bryant .
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bryant moves to back control.
Mumba is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bryant is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Mumba has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Mumba tries to break free.

Bryant has the hooks in. Mumba is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Bryant passes his arm under Mumba's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Mumba taps!
