Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Schwonckl Diesel (ranked 4137 p4p, 4818 weight class) and Roberto Jimenez (ranked 466 p4p, 507 weight class). Diesel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Outerspass - Laufhaus. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Diesel finds it's way through Jimenez's defenses.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Jimenez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Diesel can pounce on him.

Jimenez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Diesel uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jimenez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Diesel is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jimenez.

That was a close round but I would say that Schwonckl Diesel will probably get the nod.

Jimenez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diesel pinned against the cage. Diesel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Diesel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jimenez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And Jimenez tries to counter it with a takedown but Diesel pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jimenez gets in close and tags Diesel with a short punch that almost sends Diesel to the mat! Oh Diesel is in big trouble! He turns his back on Jimenez, trying to create some distance but Jimenez rushes him, striking wildly and Diesel goes down! The referee tackles Jimenez into the cage to end the fight! Jimenez is one violent man!
