Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DeShaun Holton Jr (ranked 130 p4p, 412 weight class) and Abdo Farah (ranked 17 p4p, 71 weight class). Holton Jr comes to the cage accompanied by D12 - Purple Hills. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DeShaun Holton Jr!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abdo Farah!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farah with a nice cross.
Farah swings for the body but Holton Jr moves out of range.
Holton Jr was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Farah throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Farah with a nice calf kick.
Farah lands a lovely overhand right.
Farah misses with a looping right.
Farah pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Holton Jr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Farah misses with an uppercut
and Holton Jr counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Abdo Farah has been cut.
Holton Jr takes one to the chin there.
Farah just misses with a punch to the body.
Farah throws a head kick but Holton Jr moves out of range.
Holton Jr tests Farah's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Farah moves to clinch but Holton Jr breaks away
and Holton Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Farah tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holton Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Farah misses with a wild body shot.
Farah throws a leg kick which misses Holton Jr's front leg but catches the back leg as Holton Jr tries to avoid it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Farah lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Holton Jr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Holton Jr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Farah scores with a crisp jab that stopped Holton Jr in his tracks.

It looked like Holton Jr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Farah throws a low kick, looking for Holton Jr's leg but Holton Jr calmly moves out of range.
Farah keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Holton Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Farah.
Farah missing with a left hand there. Holton Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It looked like Holton Jr was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Farah.
Farah lands a nice looking body shot.
Farah throws a predictable looking body shot
and Holton Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Farah tries to clinch up
and Holton Jr counters with a straight right hand.
That has opened up Abdo Farah's cut even more.
Farah bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Farah lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Farah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holton Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Holton Jr takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Farah misses with a left hand
and Holton Jr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Holton Jr on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Farah misses with a looping right.
Farah looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Farah misses with a straight left.
Farah fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Holton Jr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Farah is looking to land body kicks.
Farah throws out a powerful jab.
Farah rushes Holton Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Farah tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Farah lands a right hand that snaps the head of Holton Jr backwards.
Holton Jr blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Farah misses with a punch to the body.
Holton Jr breaks the clinch.
Farah misses the shot to the body.
Farah lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Holton Jr blocks a leg kick.
Holton Jr is looking to counter punch.
Farah lands with a right hand.
Farah gets a clinch.

Holton Jr works on Farah's body with a couple of short punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Holton Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Farah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Farah misses the shot to the body.
Holton Jr connects with a nice looking jab.
A jab from Farah does it's job there.
Holton Jr gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Farah.
Farah rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

The cut above Abdo Farah's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Farah misses the shot to the body.

Farah moves to clinch but Holton Jr breaks away
and Holton Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Abdo Farah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farah throws a body shot but no joy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Abdo Farah dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Abdo Farah's cut.

Holton Jr takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Holton Jr counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Farah is looking to clinch but Holton Jr is avoiding it.
Holton Jr takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Holton Jr counters with a nice right hand that sends Farah toppling to the canvas! Farah scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Holton Jr finish him?!

Abdo Farah's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Abdo Farah's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
