Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Christiano (ranked 234 p4p, 538 weight class) and Manco Capac (ranked 36 p4p, 76 weight class). Christiano's entrance music is Jesus Built My Hotrod. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Capac's choice of entrance music: Iggy Pop - The Passenger. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan Christiano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manco Capac!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christiano gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Capac to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Capac stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Christiano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Christiano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Capac manages to get himself to full guard.

Christiano would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Capac trying to keep a closed guard but Christiano is proving a slippery customer.
Christiano wants to stand but Capac has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Capac throws a shot from downtown. Christiano moves away and avoids it.
Capac closes the distance and clinches up with Christiano, looking for a takedown. Capac pushes Christiano against the cage but Christiano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Christiano was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Christiano has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Christiano tries to score with a low kick but Capac moves his leg out of the way.

Christiano throws out a loose jab but Capac uses good head movement to avoid it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Capac is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Christiano knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Capac goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Christiano has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Capac but great work by Christiano.

Christiano decides to stand back up. Christiano steps back and let's Capac get back to his feet.

Capac tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That kick from Christiano tenderised Capac's leg. Capac is trying to keep his angry face on.

Christiano slaps away a takedown attempt from Capac, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Christiano throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Capac feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Christianos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A nice inside leg kick there by Christiano. That's going to slow Capac down.

and Capac counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Capac might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Christiano haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Capac postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Christiano is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Capac, into his guard.

Christiano decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Christiano connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Capac.
As Capac backs away, Christiano returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Capac closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Capac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Christiano keeps working.

Capac tries to move into full mount but can't pass Christiano's legs.

Capac is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Christiano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Christiano is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Capac seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Christiano is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
