Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Renato Oliveira (ranked 995 p4p, 1508 weight class) and Nils Hoglander (ranked 137 p4p, 205 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira throws a right hand that Hoglander ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoglander also avoids with ease.

Oliveira changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Hoglander gets caught napping as Oliveira dives in and scores a takedown. Hoglander manages to retain guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It seemed like Hoglander was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Oliveira closes the distance and clinches up with Hoglander, looking for a takedown. Oliveira pushes Hoglander against the cage but Hoglander circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Renato Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Hoglander swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
