The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wu throws a hook but Vollan avoids it easily.
As Wu tries to get set, Vollan tries to push him back and clinch up but Wu manages to avoid the attempt.
Wu throws a jab but it's blocked by Vollan.
Vollan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vollan dodges the punch combination from Wu.
Wu misses with a combination
and Wu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Qing Wu has been cut.
Vollan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wu finds it's way round the side to connect with Vollan's head.
Wu swats away the attempt to clinch by Vollan.
Vollan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vollan was well out of range. Poor timing from Wu.

Vollan has closed the distance and engaged Wu in a clinch.

Wu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Wu blocks an uppercut.
Wu's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Wu lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Vollan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wu tries a body shot but Vollan blocks it.
Vollan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Wu tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Vollan throws a body punch but Wu moves out of range.

Vollan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Vollan scores with the left hand. Wu knows he should have avoided that one.

and Wu counters with a stiff right hand.
Wu throws a lazy right hand but Vollan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wu looks to throw the jab but Vollan is out of range.
Wu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vollan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A left lands for Wu.
Wu throws a hook to the side of Vollan's head but Vollan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Vollan darts in and clinches Wu up against the cage.
Vollan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Wu has a couple of punches blocked by Vollan.
Wu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Vollan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wu's elbow.
Vollan blocking some punches.
Vollan lands with a right to the head.

Wu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Vollan cracks Wu with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vollan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wu to stand back up!

Wu is rocked!

That has opened up Qing Wu's cut even more.
Vollan cracks Wu with a left hook right on the temple and Wu goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Vollan lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Wu is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Havardr Vollan!
