Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Amadeo Thevenet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Nomak!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thevenet shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Thevenet moves into the clinch.
Thevenet is pushing Nomak up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A frustrated look appears on Nomak's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Thevenet lands a shot to the body.
Thevenet turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Thevenet manages to end up in side control.
An elbow from Thevenet crashes against the mat.
Thevenet misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Thevenet fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Thevenet scoring with punches and elbows.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nomak takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Thevenet definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nomak dodges the ground and pound from Thevenet.
Nomak is not content to let Thevenet control the position.
Thevenet is working Nomak over with some ground and pound from side control.
Thevenet lands a few punches from side control.
A lull in the action here as Thevenet stalls from top position.
Thevenet scores with a couple of short elbows.
It looks like Frank Nomak has been cut.
Nomak looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Thevenet fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Thevenet grinds an elbow into Nomak's temple.
Thevenet landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Thevenet throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Nomak being controlled for a moment.
Thevenet has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nomak is working to avoid the ground and pound but Thevenet connects with a decent elbow.
Nomak is rocked!
That has opened up Frank Nomak's cut even more.
Nomak takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Thevenet is putting a hurting on Nomak here, landing some big shots from side control.
Nomak is still in real trouble! Can Thevenet finish him?
The cut above Frank Nomak's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Thevenet lands a few punches from side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thevenet throws an elbow but Nomak slips to the side and avoids it well.
Thevenet in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Nomak looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Thevenet turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Amadeo Thevenet decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
