The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leebus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Victorino sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leebus somewhat.
Victorino misses the jab.
Leebus seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Leebus closes the distance and clinches.
Leebus slowing the pace effectively.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Leebus.
Leebus presses Victorino against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Victorino wants to break the clinch but can't.

Leebus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Victorino throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Victorino throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Leebus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Victorino lands with a straight right. Leebus didn't see that one coming.

and Leebus counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Leebus misses with a takedown attempt - Victorino sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leebus gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Leebus lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Victorino backwards.
Victorino is trying to push Leebus away but Leebus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Leebus manages to break the clinch.
No joy there for Victorino, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Victorino connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Leebus's hands.
Victorino digs a good hook to Leebus's body.
Leebus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Victorino sprawls well. Victorino wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Leebus gets slowly back to his feet.

Leebus shoots in looking for a takedown. Victorino tries to sprawl out of it but Leebus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Victorino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Victorino on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Leebus. Leebus obviously looking to wear him down.
Victorino rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leebus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Leebus takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Victorino lands a lovely overhand right.
Leebus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Alex Victorino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Victorino connects with a nice cross there... Leebus is looking wobbly and Victorino recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Leebus to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Victorino jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
