Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bam Bam Gigolo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Rhodes!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Rhodes.
It looks like Bam Bam Gigolo has been cut.
Gigolo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rhodes.
Rhodes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gigolo.
Rhodes fakes the leg kick and cracks Gigolo in the body.
Gigolo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rhodes avoids it really well and circles away.
Rhodes throws out a powerful jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rhodes moves out of range as Gigolo throws a body kick.
Gigolo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rhodes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rhodes.
Rhodes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gigolo is looking to counter the offense by Rhodes and move into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gigolo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've been informed that Rhodes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Rhodes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bam Bam Gigolo's cut is getting worse.

Rhodes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rhodes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gigolo counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Gigolo is working to tighten his grip on Rhodes's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rhodes has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gigolo is really squeezing tight and eventually Rhodes passes out! Gigolo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
