Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pedro Orlov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brandon Hendrix!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hendrix circles away.
Hendrix throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Orlov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Pedro Orlov has been cut.
Orlov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hendrix.
Orlov ducks straight into an uppercut from Hendrix and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Orlov manages to regain guard straight away.
Orlov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hendrix wants to stand but Orlov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Oh Orlov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hendrix is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Orlov wants to sweep but no luck.
Hendrix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orlov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Orlov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Orlov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hendrix is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Orlov.
Orlov is looking to regain half guard here but Hendrix keeps moving and retains side control.
Orlov seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hendrix looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Orlov is working hard here to advance position.
Hendrix just content to control the position.
Orlov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hendrix decides to stand back up.
A jab-cross combination lands for Hendrix and sends Orlov crashing to the mat! Hendrix follows him down to the mat - Orlov regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Hendrix stands up out of the half guard.
Pedro Orlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Orlov is defended easily by Hendrix.
A countering left hand to the body from Hendrix misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
BAM! Hendrix delivers a spinning backfist that drops Orlov like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
